Finding my children's school
Hello. I have been separated now over for 12 years. My ex-wife practiced extensive parental alienation and actively tried to stop me seeing the children or going to the children's schools etc. Although she failed in a legal sense at all occasions, her constant alientation did reap some dividends with the children, and eventually after 7.5 years I ceased regular contact with the children in the hope that they would be under less pressure and life would be easier for them. Over two years passed and I kept in contact with what the children were doing at school by regular attendence at parent-teacher interviews and also with the school guidance officer. At this point one of my girls saw the schol guidance officer for help in regaining contact with me and then approached a youth assistance group in Brisbane. As a result of that my eldest daughter left her mother and came to live with me. This is over 2 years ago now.
I have still continued to obtain school photos for my other two children and keep in contact though parent-teacher interviews. This year when I approached the school they were attending I was informed that the children no longer attended that school and that they did not know where they had gone. I contacted other schools in the area but could not locate them. I have court orders stating that they other parent must tell me if they change schools, however the other parent has seldom complied with court orders and I do not wish to take the matter to court. Does anyone know some way that I can find out what school my other two children attend without having to take the other parent to court?
Cheers, Fred
